Our Mission

굿스푼 선교회의모든사업(선교사업, 사회복지사업, 교육 사업, 치료 사역)들은 가난한 도시빈민들의 영혼 구령을 위한 총체적 선교사업이라해도과언이아닙니다. 모든사업이복음을전하기위해시행되기때문입니다. 세분화된영역으로서의선교사업은아래와같이직접적인예배와전도를감당하는일을가리킵니다:

It is not too much to say that every action Good Spoon takes is business-ministry, because every action is taken to spread the gospel. Segmentalized areas of mission will be categorized following:

THE GOOD SPOON SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

Good Spoon 장학 재단은 다음을 추구합니다.

1.     워싱턴 지역의 가난한 도시빈민 라티노청소년들 중 건강한 크리스챤 리더들로 성장하는데  학문적, 개인적 성취를 장려하기 위해 설립되었습니다.

2.     신앙과 실력을 겸비한 경건한 영적 리더들로 육성하여  미국과커뮤니티를 위해 성실히 봉사할 수 있는 지도력 함양을 위해 인재를 발굴하고 후원하려고 합니다

Good Spoon Scholarship Foundation

Good Spoon Scholarship Foundation is established to help meet the financial needs of Latin-American students seeking higher education. Specifically, the foundation seeks to:

1)  encourage low-income family Hispanic students in DMV area to have academic, personal achievements to grow as healthy Christian leaders.

2) support and cultivate talented people by bringing up devout spiritual leaders to serve the U.S and the community with their faith and skills.

Fundación de becas Good Spoon

Fundación de Becas Good Spoon establecida para ayudar a satisfacer las necesidades financieras de los estudiantes latino americanos que buscan una educación superior. Específicamente, la fundación busca:

1) anime a los estudiantes hispanos de bajos ingresos de la zona del DMV a tener logros académicos y personales para crecer como líderes cristianos sanos.

2) apoyar y cultivar a las personas talentosas al criar a los líderes espirituales devotos para servir a los Estados Unidos y a la comunidad con su fe y destrezas.

 장학금 종류 및 설명 tYPES OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

영구 장학금

영구 장학금은 개인이나 기업이 한번에 기증한(  $500   ) 달러 이상의 기금을 가지고 영구히 지급하는 장학금입니다. 기증자는 장학금을 받을 학생의 전공이나 학교를 지정 할 수 있으며 학생 일인당 ( $500  )달러씩 지급됩니다.

Chair Scholarship

Chair Scholarships are established through a one-time donation of  ($ 500) or more by individuals and corporations for a life-time scholarship. A donor can request a specific academic major or school for the scholarship. Each student receives ($500).

BECAS DE SILLASLas becas Chair se establecen a través de una donación única de $ 500 o más por individuos y corporaciones para una beca de porvida. Un donante puede solicitar una especialización académica o una escuela específica para la beca. Cada estudiante recibe $ 500.

지정 장학금

지정 장학금은 특정 분야를 공부하는 학생들에게 지급됩니다. 기금은 한번 또는 연속 기증할 수 있으며 학생 일인당 ($500  )달러 또는 그 이상이 지급 됩니다.

Designated Scholarship

Designated Scholarships have been established to reward students in specific fields. The contribution can be made as a one-time contribution or on a continual basis. Each student receives ($500).

BECAS DESIGNADAS Las becas designadas se han establecido para recompensar a los estudiantes en campos específicos. La contribución puede hacerse como una contribución única o de forma continua. Cada estudiante recibe $ 500 o más.

일반 장학금

일반 장학금은 다양한 모금 활동과 기타 다른 기증으로 제공되는 것으로 다양한 전공과 배경의 학생들에게 주어집니다. 학생 일인당 지급액은 ($500 )달러 입니다.

General Scholarship

General Scholarships are provided by the funds generated from various fund-raising activities and/or other donations. They are available to students in various academic fields and backgrounds and each student receives from ($500).

BECAS GENERALESLas becas generales son proporcion adas por los fondos generados a partir de diversas actividades de recaudación de fondos u otras donaciones. Están disponibles para estudiantes en diversos campos académicos y antecedentes y cada estudiante recibe de ( $500 )

 

고교생 장학금

고교생 장학금은 11학년생들에게 신청 자격이 있습니다. PSAT, 에세이, 사회봉사, 재능과 지도력을 포함한 학문적 성취에 근거해 선발하며 지급액은 ( $500 )달러 또는 그 이상입니다.

High School Achievement Award

High School juniors are eligible to apply for High School Achievement Award. Selection is based on academic achievements including PSAT scores, community service, talent and leadership. Each student receives ($500) or more.

PREMIOS DE LOGROS DE LA ESCUELA SECUNDARIA

Los estudiantes de tercer año de la escuela secundaria son elegibles para solicitar el Premio al Logro de la Escuela Secundaria. La selección se basa en los logros académicos, incluidos puntajes de PSAT, servicio comunitario, talento y liderazgo. Cada estudiante recibe($ 500) o más.

 신청 조건 및 자격 

Good Spoon 장학금은 대학이나 대학원에 풀타임으로 다니고 있는 학생에게 신청 자격이 있습니다. 수혜자는 금전적 필요, 성적, 교내 활동과 에세이, 사회 봉사를 기반으로 선정됩니다.

Apply and Qualifications

Good Spoon scholarships are offered to the qualified students. All applicants must be enrolled in a full time program in the U.S during the scholarship application year.

Our applicants are evaluated based on the following criteria:

Financial Need / Scholastic Achievement / Recommendations / Essay / Community Service / Extracurricular Activities

Aplicar y calificaciones

Las becas Good Spoon se ofrecen a los estudiantes calificados. Todos los solicitantes deben estar inscritos en un programa de tiempo completo en los Estados Unidos durante el año de solicitud de la beca.

Nuestros solicitantes son evaluados de acuerdo con los siguiente scriterios:

Necesidadfinanciera / Logroacadémico / Recomendaciones / Ensayo / Servicio a la comunidad / Actividades extracurriculares

 구비서류 dOCUMENTS

1)    성적표 -transcript copy

2)     500자 내외의 작문(Topics of your choice, 영문, 스페니쉬) -Essay in English or Spanish in 500 words

3)    장학금 수혜 신청서 (굿스푼 장학재단 소정양식) -The scholarship application

4)    자기 소개서 Your information

5)    추천서 1통 (학교, 선생님, 혹은 출석 교회 담임목사님들로부터 굿스푼 장학재단으로 직접 보내져야 함) -1 letter of recommendation

 

 자격 qualification

1)    굿스푼 창립감사 주간(매년 4월 마지막 주일 오후)에 참석할 수 있는자

If the candidate is selected, he/she must be present to the Good Spoon Anniversary event. (Sunday afternoon on the last week of April)

2)    현재 미국 공립학교 중,고등학교에 재학중인 자, 혹은 대학 재학생으로 마지막 학교 성적 평균 B 학점 또는 3.0 이상인 자, 또는 장학재단 이사 2인 이상의 추천을 받은 특기생이나 재정적 도움이 필요한 자

The candidate must be full-time college student or in middle/high school who has B (3.0) or higher in their last semester. Or the candidate must show their financial needs, or must obtain two letters of recommendation from The Good Spoon Scholarship Foundation board of directors. 

3)    단, 전년도 수상자는 대상에서 제외됨

Candidates from previous year cannot receive the scholarship.
